We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef / Executive Sous Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join the culinary team at a luxury property in Bhutan. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our commitment to exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and development, focusing on authentic Indian dishes.

  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

  • Maintain food safety standards and adhere to health regulations.

  • Collaborate with suppliers for quality ingredients and manage inventory effectively.

  • Assist in managing food costs and budgeting within the kitchen.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in high-end hotels or restaurants, with a focus on Indian cuisine.

  • Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage kitchen staff effectively.

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
