DCDP-Bakery

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts. This includes measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping dough, and monitoring baking times and temperatures. The Demi Chef will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and desserts

  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes

  • Shape dough and monitor baking times and temperatures

  • Decorate and finish baked goods with skill and precision

  • Maintain inventory and order necessary supplies

  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials

  • Train and manage junior staff members

    Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with culinary training preferred

  • 7-8 years of total Experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen

  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and methods

  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
