We are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at a prestigious Hill Resort Property located in the beautiful city of Bangalore. Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness throughout the resort.
2. Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and procedures, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
3. Manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, guidance, and support when needed.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring timely procurement and proper storage.
5. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure they meet our resort's standards.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional guest satisfaction.
7. Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping matters, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Prepare regular reports on the housekeeping department's performance, including key metrics, achievements, and challenges.
10. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in housekeeping management, preferably within a resort or hotel setting.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.

  • Proficient in the use of housekeeping software and technology.
