Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes from the Asian cuisine, such as Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Indian.
Ensure high-quality food presentation and taste, adhering to our cafe's standards.
Manage and coordinate the activities of the assigned section, mentoring and supporting junior cooks.
Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new and innovative Asian-inspired dishes.
Order and maintain stock levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing wastage.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Assist in menu planning and costing, keeping track of inventory and expenses.
Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques in Asian cuisine.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a reputable establishment, with a specific focus on Asian cuisine.
In-depth knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
Ability to demonstrate creativity and passion for Asian cuisine through innovative dishes.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
A diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field will be an advantage.
Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
