Position: Business Development Manager - Hospitality

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth across the chain's properties.

  • Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships to expand market share.

  • Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and enhance brand visibility.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, generate reports, and present insights to senior management.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Key Focus Areas

Business Growth & Expansion

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand Signum Hotels' portfolio.

  • Identify new markets, potential acquisitions, and revenue-generating opportunities.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Drive lead generation, property acquisitions, and management contract signings.

  • Set and achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and expansion KPIs.

  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline for continuous business growth.

Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hotel owners, investors, travel agents, and corporate clients.

  • Negotiate and close high-value hotel management agreements (HMAs), franchise deals, and corporate partnerships.

  • Represent Signum Hotels at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor the business development team to enhance performance and achieve targets.

  • Establish KPIs and track team productivity to drive results.

  • Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented, and high-performance culture within the team.

Financial & Operational Oversight

  • Develop and manage the business development budget to align with company objectives.

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless deal execution.

  • Provide regular reports, business insights, and forecasts to the Vice President, Operations.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Core Qualifications

  • ✅ 8–15 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the hospitality industry.

  • ✅ Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Core Skills

  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven track record in hotel acquisitions, franchise development, and management contract negotiations.

  • Data-driven decision-making with an analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
