Job Opening for a Revenue Manager For a Revenue Management Company (Work From Home)

A growing revenue management company, dedicated to optimizing revenue for U.S.-based hotels, is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Revenue Manager to join our team. This remote, work-from-home position offers the flexibility to manage multiple hotel properties across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Optimization: Utilize industry-standard revenue management tools and strategies to maximize room revenue, occupancy, and profitability.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive set analysis, demand forecasting, and market trends to make informed pricing and distribution decisions.

  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies based on historical data, market conditions, and demand forecasts.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to hotel clients, analyzing KPIs, identifying trends, and recommending actions to improve performance.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage room inventory across multiple distribution channels, ensuring optimal availability and pricing.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with hotel management teams, sales departments, and other stakeholders to align pricing strategies with business goals.

  • Technology Utilization: Proficiently use Revenue Management Systems (RMS), Channel Managers, and Property Management Systems (PMS) to monitor and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 4-5years of experience in hotel revenue management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

    • Familiarity with revenue management systems (e.g., IDeaS, RevPAR, STR, etc.) and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Maestro).

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other revenue management tools.
