Position Overview:
As a Regional Purchase Manager for our prestigious chain restaurant brand, you will play a vital role in overseeing the procurement process across multiple locations within your assigned region. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of high-quality ingredients, supplies, and equipment for our restaurants. You will collaborate closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and the corporate purchasing team to maintain consistency in the supply chain while minimizing costs and optimizing operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute regional procurement strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives to ensure seamless supply chain operations across assigned locations.
Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions to secure competitive pricing, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly, conduct periodic audits, and establish strong vendor relationships to ensure adherence to the brand's quality standards and compliance with industry regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, culinary, and finance, to forecast demand, analyze inventory levels, and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
Monitor market trends, conduct market research, and stay updated with industry changes to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels, and generate insightful reports to evaluate procurement performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate action plans.
Implement standardized procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical practices across the regional procurement team.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and software solutions to streamline procurement operations, enhance efficiency, and increase productivity within the region.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPM) are a plus.
Proven experience as a Purchase Manager, Procurement Manager, or similar role within the food and beverage industry, preferably with a chain restaurant brand.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, vendor management, and inventory control.
Familiarity with food safety regulations, quality assurance protocols, and industry standards.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to effectively work with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships with suppliers.
